Review on Panasonic KX TG9581B Link2Cell DECT_6 0 1 Handset by Hayden Hart

I originally bought this for two reasons - corded phone and speakerphone. Unfortunately, the hands-free facility is not suitable for calls. It only makes sense to navigate through the voice menu. Any time someone speaks while you're on the speakerphone, they won't hear you. So if you're on a conference call and trying to intervene, good luck. This phone isn't for you when you need it. The speakerphone quality isn't very good either, but is acceptable if you get close enough to the microphone. Another focus is on function rather than content - there's no hold button on the cordless handset. DO has a noise canceling button like you use it more often. On the other hand, the LED indicator will light up when you activate it. I haven't bothered to use the Bluetooth capabilities as they aren't as useful to me as the reverse is usually the case. I prefer to use a landline phone and a desktop computer instead of answering calls on my cell phone. My calls ring on both devices and I prefer to talk on the wired base station. Despite the fact that there are problems with this model, there is not much choice. Maybe I'll try a different brand next time. Got this on sale so worth investing again. But I'll make sure the next speakerphone is full duplex.
