Why radio? Constantly listening to MP3s of my legends from the 60s, 70s, 80s (the clock stops here) became dangerous as these gems became cornflakes (due to an overdose). It was scary. I also felt like it made me isolated, locked in my own world, I'll hear what I want, when I want. So I went back to the radio. I'm back with the outside world with this $20 gadget. I use for running, treadmill, stepper, in the office. The radio tape recorder is solidly made, it looks solid, clean, unobtrusive. The reception is good. The volume is loud. Only if there was a little more bass. I added Sony earbuds which added the bass. Happy. Let's go further into the past. I love random noise, FM fades, 60's high school memories, being stuck on a transistor radio. anil
