Disappointed product for power and hand tools

I have ordered two of these diamond stones. I was unhappy with both. The first appears to have fallen onto a corner, causing the corner and another small section to the side to protrude above the level of the stone. On a short edge was a ridge that also rose above the level of the stone. I have addressed these areas with another diamond stone. The first was perfect. Upon use, the 1000# face found that there was a band along the long side approximately 1/8 inch along the entire length of the stone that was completely smooth with little or no diamond material. This made it impossible to sharpen the knife blade to a ricasso. It was a deal breaker for me. The 400# page was perfect. There was a significant difference in abrasiveness between the sides, as there should be. I sent this stone back and asked for an exchange. After receiving the second stone I was disappointed again. The 400# side was very good. The 1000# side had better diamond material distribution than the first one I got. Examining the stone further, I could see that it was not flat. I placed the stone on a piece of flat glass and tested it. Pressing on the corner of the stone made it swing. The 400# face of this stone was identical to the first stone I received. I can't say the same about the 1000# site. Even after breaking on the 1000# side, it's still very abrasive. I hope that with further use it will gain a foothold. I've decided to keep the second one, although I'm not happy. I bought this diamond stone to smooth out bevels on a knife blade when needed. I have knives with Elmax and S110V. These are very hard steels. The rock goes out of level a little less than 1/16 inch when I press on one corner, causing the other to rise higher. I sharpen by hand and I don't think it will affect my result much. I wanted to use a diamond stone to level ceramic or other stones. Because it's not flat, I can't. The description states that the stone is 3 inches wide. It is not true. Both stones I received were 2-3/4" wide. See photos for the above issues. Photo #1. The first stone received. Shows damage to the side resulting in a small area Protruding on the edge Burr on the edge Photo β„–2 The first stone was received Shown damage to the corner and how it protruded Photo β„–3 The first stone was received Shown is a burr Photo β„–4 The second stone was received .Shows how it's not flat.A small flashlight is in the right back corner to show how the stone swings when you press the corner. If you look in the back left corner it's dark where the Stone is touching the glass. If you look to the right of it you can see white. This is the wall behind the stone that indicates the gap between the stone and the glass. Moving further to the right it gets darker again where the stone is Glass touched again Photo #5 For reference, the porridge te of the stone is shown with a ruler showing that it is 2-3/4 inches wide.
