Quality navigator good for GPS, finders and accessories

Works well but some features are missing/carried over from my old Garmin. I use this for law enforcement purposes, so it's often used to show current location and not tell me where to go. My old Garmin could be turned off but was still connected and tracking the satellites. When disabled, this block will stop tracking satellites. It's fine as long as you don't turn it on and it should find a signal before showing where you are. It's a little uncomfortable when someone starts snaking through the alleys trying to lose me. For most people this isn't a problem, but for me it's a mild annoyance. The other thing I don't care about is that in order to look for crossbreeds, you have to flip through a few pages first. Crossroads search used to be the icon on the front page of my old Nuvi. Again, nothing fancy, and it still can, but a little more awkward after getting used to my old Garmin, which might make it easier. Overall this is a great sat nav and I love that I never have to pay for it. Map update again. The screen and map display are better than my old Garmin and the touch functions are more responsive, so it's not too bad. I'm happy with it, but the 2 aforementioned changes from the old Nuvi are the reason I deducted a star. Still a quality product at a reasonable price. I would buy it again after checking if they have a model that doesn't need to reacquire satellites after turning off the screen.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Small things
