Review on DNA Motoring OEM-ITM-004 Intake Manifold 615-188: Upgraded Performance for Ford F150/F250 F350 SD 5.4L V8 by Mike Brumfield

A general fault has occurred on my intake manifold. Everything disassembled and ordered. There were enough positive reviews and I decided to take a chance. I wanted to follow those who were in the same boat. Gaskets are integrated into the design, which greatly simplifies installation. The screws for coils and some brackets use self-tapping screws in a plastic case. Just make sure they aren't too tight. The fuel rails were perfectly aligned and I replaced the o-rings since I had removed the injectors. You will use factory bolts to attach it to the engine block. The throttle body brackets also use factory bolts. If you take your time, everything goes smoothly. Took the Expedition for a 2 hour test drive and everything is great. I changed the spark plugs while I was there. Also included is a thermostat and a new gasket. I had a little trouble tightening one of the thermostat housing bolts and waited until I had secured the housing before digging into the project. If I had to do it again I would recommend tightening these bolts prior to tightening the intake manifold. I did, but it would be easier. Otherwise it seems like a great piece. I will update this in a few months. Fuel economy seems to have improved and performance is good. I'm a lucky tourist.
