Update: Seller got it right Many months later the seller contacted me and sent me replacement thermometers for the ones that didn't work. Basically, they work with one small flaw. Not perfect, but usable. Good service from the seller. ---- I've ordered a pair of these that don't work the same way. That is, they are both confused in the same way. They are so imprecise that they cannot even be considered useful. Heaven help you if you use them to bake bread. They're hard to read when hung properly, but they also supposedly don't work when hung. Pay a little more and get something that actually won't burn you out. your food.
