Bought to replace the sticky dash back panel. Ours were worn out and the ball block no longer held the GPS in place. This one fits perfectly, the ball holding area has a strong spring to keep it in place. There is no suction as this liner does not use any type of suction device. There is no security rating as it is a dashboard and if you leave it on the dashboard you have no security. It works well, stays in place very well, isn't too heavy and doesn't leave anything on the dash for me to try and clean up when I move it. As a bonus, you get a very nice little micro SD card reader. It also works well and is easy to carry on your keychain when you need it. If I need another dashboard to store my other GPS navigators, I will not hesitate to buy it again.
