I used to have to make my own anti-slip bag using epoxy, screws, and a Frankenstein sandbag liner. I travel to work daily, sometimes up to 400 miles or so, so I prefer a standalone GPS the old school. device versus what is on my phone. My work regularly takes me across pipeline access roads, mountaintop gas wells, dirt and gravel roads that lead to literally nowhere, and mounting a GPS device on your windshield or dashboard just doesn't work.
