I installed a set of these tires on my Yamaha Rhino ATV for both asphalt and dirt roads in the Arizona desert. I left the rest of the tires and rims for use in the summer rain and mud. They work great on tarmac, but you have to make wide turns as quads have locked rear differentials and they have to rub tires on one side to turn. They are sticky and harder to scratch. But it also means traction is excellent. On dirt roads and trails, driving on sand, gravel and softball sized loose rocks they are just as effective as my Maxis Big Horns which surprised me. The only downside is that gravel can get stuck in the narrow tread and then get into the fenders while driving. You drive a lot of gravel on gravel roads and a little on dirt roads. When driving fast, don't let your head hang overboard!
