Review on 🔬 The Ultimate Fermentation Kit: Masontops Complete Mason Jar Set for Easy DIY Vegetable Fermenting by Mike Rogers

I've only had this set for a week but not quite sure if it's worth it. I'm new to fermentation so I wanted to keep things as simple as possible. The wood blocking was amazing - really helped get the liquid out of the cabbage and pack it firmly into the jar. However, the weights do not completely fill the circumference of the can. I have both the cauliflower and cabbage chunks floating above the weight so I'm not sure how/if these batches will turn out. My first attempt with apple chutney (3 days fermentation) was moldy. Not sure if it was a mistake I made or the fault of the glasses. I followed the online chutney recipe exactly. In any case, I have to say that my high hopes for this set were not fulfilled.
