It looks like a well-made coat. It's soft and fluffy and my son should be comfortable in it as he's been wearing it for hours even though the temp is still over 80c. He's 3ft 30lbs and wears a solid 3T. Fits almost perfectly. It's thin, so there's more room in the middle. I think if your little fella is a little overweight this will still suit him. My son also has long arms and this length is just right for him. So if your child wears a 4T and has long arms, this might be too short. Although this fur is thick, the material that fills it is not very dense. It will be warm enough here in the south for the winter, but it may not be enough for colder winters.
