Even if there are other reviews of this product that read similarly to this one, I still believe that not every product works the same for everyone. But. Less than a couple of hours after replacing the standard antennas that came with my Netgear Nighthawk R7000 with these 3 antennas, I realized how accurate the negative reviews were. WARNING PEOPLE BE CAREFUL! I have been working in IT for over 30 years and exclusively in the hardware sector for over 20 years. If you don't have a WiFi router with built-in antenna adjustment (SWR function), use the standard antennas that came with your WiFi router. The standard antennas may not have the extreme range you were hoping for, but they are designed to work with a wireless router, which they are factory matched to by the group of engineers who designed them. These antennas are attenuators, not amplifiers. They actually reduced the range AND throughput of my Nighthawk R7000 by over 50%. In some cases, my 2.4GHz band disappeared entirely, while my 5GHz band was marginally stable at best, at less than 50% of its original bandwidth and range. antennas. You need to know what you're doing to properly install them and match them to your wireless router. Just because the connections match doesn't mean it works automatically. BUYER BEWARE!
