Excellent heat resistance!
Here I did a simple test with a lighter. It seems that the surface starts to blacken when heated for more than 1 second or more. This makes sense as the flame temperature is around 700°C/1300°F. I wouldn't be surprised if smoke, deformation or burns appear during the test. However, there was no burning smell or visible damage to the surface, what else can you expect from these cheap potholders?
