Very poor battery life, poorly thought out features

Battery life is no more than 6 hours on recording, barely enough for normal travel when you forget to charge it and there's no chance - or get all day. The battery doesn't last long even when it's turned off, so you'll have to keep it connected to the network all the time. Looking through this, I realized that this was a major problem with the original 130 and Garmin did absolutely nothing to fix it. For the 130+ this product deserves 1 star as they still lie about it getting 12 hours which is absolutely impossible. Another thing I hate is that if you have auto shut off enabled, it will turn off WHILE RECORDING if you leave the bike for a few minutes, and then won't turn back on when you start to slow down move. This makes the auto-shutoff completely useless and even more difficult to manipulate the poor battery life. I've mainly used this for live segments, but even that is useless due to the ill-conceived usability. I wanted to know how much time I had for the last segment, but the results screen comes up so briefly (2-3 seconds max) that it's unsafe/impossible to see it while driving and there's no history data screen. shows what you have. If they just added a basic story page, maybe people could actually use the feature.

Cons
