A tank is a tank. I just bought and installed this tank (the original tank that came with my system was the same brand and lasted about 7 years). I couldn't get the water to flow into the new tank. I assume that replacement tanks can sit on the shelf for a long time. I assumed the water bubble collapsed and stuck to itself. Based on that, I released all the air pressure in the tank. I then filled it with water since there was no air pressure resistance. After adding water, I pressed the tank again to force all the water out. I then depressurized the air and immediately inflated it again. At that moment, water began to flow into the tank. Now everything works as I expected. The first tank lasted a long time.
