My 80 year old mother uses her mobile phone to watch a lot of YouTube videos at home. Due to the pandemic, she's even more tied to YouTube. I know that it is often difficult for her to see all the details in the videos she is watching because the mobile screen is too small. I wanted to give her a tablet that would give her the best multimedia experience while being easy on her wallet. Enter the Marvue M10 tablet. The price is quite cheap for a 10.1 inch tablet. Yes, it's only 720p and only 2GB of RAM. But in fact, this is enough for an elderly person who only wants to watch YouTube and use various multimedia applications. If you're looking for a tablet for data analysis and other graphics-intensive tasks, look elsewhere. For my mother, this was the perfect tablet. I was pleasantly surprised that it ships with at least Android 10.1, which should offer reasonably good security. However, if you're buying this primarily for media consumption, security might not be the most important buying factor. And with a 5000mAh battery, you can watch multimedia for hours on a single charge. 32GB ROM is enough for media streaming. Even if she wants to download specific videos, 32GB should be enough. It is possible to add a micro SD card for additional storage space. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. More importantly, I have a very happy and content mother.
