Mom is here๐โโ๏ธ and I drive an older car. As soon as my engine light came on and I called everywhere they charged $150 just to tell me what code error the light was, which took them a few minutes to figure out. They were of course willing to shell out the $150 for any type of repair, which made it impossible for me to find a better price on a repair or find anything I could fix myself. Right out of the box, this thing isn't mom-friendly. The supplied manual reads like a radio manual from the 1980s. There is no step-by-step guide at all. BUT, BUT, there are many video reviews of this device on YouTube showing step by step how to use it and that's what I needed. a penny. I was able to get an error code, it was just a wire that needed replacing. Cable for $10! The cost of this machine and the cost of the cable alone saved me a lot of money. I'm sure I'll need it again in the future and I think it's a good investment.
