I originally bought a wiper blade from a large store nearby but was disappointed that it wasn't the same as the original. The original blade fits exactly, no adapters. General blade types are designed to fit a variety of vehicles resulting in a poor fit, and sometimes they don't fit at all. This blade fits exactly as the name suggests. However, you will need to remove the small plastic bracket from the old blade and reattach it to the new blade (if installing an Odyssey). The bracket appears to be designed to align the blade with the wiper arm, which may be necessary in cold climates where snow and ice can accumulate on the rear window.
