The best thing about this book is that it's full of design samples. It's handy to have charts for colorful design work. With so many books full of real dress patterns, this book is full of design patterns that make it easy for a creative knitter to find a design and adapt it to any knitting project of their choice. This is great for an experienced knitter, but it may not be the best or most useful for a new knitter, although for a new knitter it should definitely be in their library for inspiration and future use.
