When I opened the packaging I thought there were no mounting screws. However, if you shake them, you can feel the screw inside the doorstop. You simply unscrew the bottom mounting plate and the screw inside will fall out. When installing the stopper plate on the baseboard, be sure to drill a pilot hole (smaller than the screw size) first to prevent the baseboard from splitting. Then simply screw the mounting plate onto the skirting board. You will notice a second hole in the mounting plate. When you screw the stopper onto the mounting plate, the end of the spring actually goes into the second hole in the mounting plate and is tightened as it is screwed in. Very easy installation and beautiful product.
