Review on ๐Ÿš— Enhance Your Vehicle's Performance with the KYB 344049 Excel-G Gas Shock by Jeremy Levendusky

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have to say if anyone asks me what front shocks to get on a machine like mine I would recommend these

had no experience with the brand before. I have to say that these are really high quality shock absorbers. They made the front end of my 20 year old f150 pretty much the same as when I bought it. Physically, they're smaller in diameter than the factory shocks, but the design and construction is very solid, the ride is firm rather than soft, and they definitely control cornering. The bottom bracket required some care when installing, you may need to cut about a millimeter off it with a flat file or use a hammer to pry open the bottom bracket on the frame. It could also be due to the age of my trucks and surface rust. I have to say if anyone asked me which front shocks to choose for a setup like mine I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • problems
