I like the idea of this product. I bought this for a late diaper change when our next baby arrives and my 4 year old loves playing with the color change. However, I have two problems with this: 1) It should be possible to change settings by clicking on them. I kind of have to STRIKE it or pick it up (just a few inches high) and drop it to make it change colors/settings when I'm not using the remote. 2) I bought a remote control version so if an older sibling wakes up in the middle of the night, he can use the remote to turn on the light himself. However, the remote (or tap/clap) doesn't work to turn the light on after it's been off for a while. There is a button at the bottom that needs to be pressed to turn it on before the remote will work. Then if you turn off the light with the remote and the light stays off for about an hour, the remote stops working and you have to turn it back on by lifting it up and pressing the button below. This defies the purpose of the remote control in my opinion. And I was very disappointed with this idiosyncrasy.
