Ring Box and Gourmet Salt
I bought the salt box as a box for rings and a nice box of gourmet salt that we gave away. This is a beautiful box - the base appears to be made from a single piece of wood rather than two parts (hollow cylinder and disc). Removing the sticker took some effort. I used some mineral oil which I use to condition my carving block and it gave the box a nice woody finish. The lid is a bit loose and it is not an airtight seal. Now I live in an arid climate, but if I still lived in a high humidity environment I think the salt would stick together quickly.
