I ordered two types of this cat food: salmon beef. I always find it a bit odd to feed cats beef. Anyway, we have four cats. Every night I open a can of cat food and put it on a thick paper plate to get her to sleep in "her" room. ADVANTAGES: - Cats pounce on this food. CONS: - I've never experienced such a lean portion size before. The amount in this bag was less than the smallest jar - The bag was difficult to open. I almost grabbed the scissors, but didn't. Part of the problem was simply tearing apart very rigid packaging. The other part was that the bag filled past the break line. So. - My hands got really nasty when I opened this bag from all the liquid. - I still don't know if the contents of the bag should be served alone or over the kibble. The directions say to give 2 ¼ to 3 cups a day for a 6-8 pound cat, double that for kittens. This begs the fairly obvious question of why these pouches are so small. They are incredibly eco-friendly. CONCLUSION: Flavor seems good but messy and in tiny amounts.
