This is a very good zoom, designed to be as sharp as possible at the long end (300mm) - most zooms look best at the short end. But here, where you want it most, it really delivers. On dyxum.com you can read many user reviews about this lens. There you will find TWO VERSIONS of this 100-300 APO lens. One is marked 'D' - it features the latest electronic connections for flash focusing with Sony cameras. Another APO without D has the same lens construction. A NOTICE. The photos on Revain.com are from two different versions. In the main photo is version D. In the other photo is the old version. It is important to know what the used lens dealer is selling you before you buy. I don't know how to write to them in advance, but this is my recommendation.
