Macro required for lenses

Really disappointed that Konica Minolta is exiting the camera business. We have been using their products for over 40 years. Glad I found this lens as I do quite a bit of macro photography.

Beautiful lens: Lenses

I thought I was buying a used lens but apart from not being in the factory box it looks and works like new. It was a true APO lens as listed. Great quality product at a great price!

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Almost never

Buyer warning! I received the wrong item. This .

Buyer beware! I received the wrong item. This lens was supposed to be an APO version and I got a non-APO version. I'm new to photography and for a long time didn't realize it was the wrong version and tried to sell it back to Revain but they won't take it because it's not the APO version. live and learn

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • Not bad

The best telephoto zoom I've ever had!

This lens is so good I bought a second one to keep with me! Seriously, I've had a lot of lenses, but this one gives the sharpest image for its size and weight. Of course there are even sharper lenses available for Sony, but due to their weight you won't be lugging them around all day on vacation. What other telephoto lens delivers the sharpest images at the long end? Canon L lenses definitely do not fit! I would highly recommend this lens to anyone looking for a sharp, compact and lightweight…

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Big and chunky

TWO different versions of this very good lens!

This is a very good zoom, designed to be as sharp as possible at the long end (300mm) - most zooms look best at the short end. But here, where you want it most, it really delivers. On dyxum.com you can read many user reviews about this lens. There you will find TWO VERSIONS of this 100-300 APO lens. One is marked 'D' - it features the latest electronic connections for flash focusing with Sony cameras. Another APO without D has the same lens construction. A NOTICE. The photos on Revain.com are…
