UPDATE: These eat batteries if you have them on for at least 4 hours a day. They probably only lasted me.a month at that rate. So, use them sparingly I guess.__________These are pretty neat and everyone who sees them really likes them. Sometimes I work in facilities that don't allow real candles, so these are an awesome alternative. I really enjoy the multi-color function - and if you want to set each one differently, hole each away from the others and the remote will work on each separately. I can't speak to the battery life just yet as I haven't had them long enough - they do take a lot of batteries (9 AAA overall), so I hope the don't eat them quickly. I also switch them 'off' on the bottom each day to conserve. Sometimes (even with the candles all together) the short one is "missed" by the remote. The only other thing is these are advertised as "vanilla scented." Um.no. Not even close. There's no scent at all. They smell like Crayons up close, which I guess is appropriate since they are wax. Not a huge deal for me, as I use a diffuser for my room scent.Overall, and so far, a nice product that can create a relaxing, zen atmosphere. I use them at work (freelance), and I look forward to them being at home as well when I am not working. If you have a big bathtub, I'm sure these would be GREAT ambience.
