In our household we often use coasters when handling microwaved food and leftovers. These coasters do it all! I use them to get hot stuff out of the microwave. I use it as a portable napkin when I take a hotplate to my desk or into the living room to watch the news. I use them to open cans and bottles. I love that I can rinse them under the running water and after a drip or spill they're as good as new. I use them as trivets to place under a hot serving platter on a wooden table. And I use them to take a hot pan or lid. I've replaced various fabric heating pads with these and haven't looked back.
