Before ordering this box I read reviews to see other people's good and bad experiences with it and like everyone else I wasn't expecting much when I heard about it. this box, but I ordered it anyway and I am very happy with my purchase. The color is very vibrant and there is no chipping as stated in another review. I really like the size of the box, it turned out a bit larger than I expected, but it's not bad at all. I'm the smallest size for my new puppy and I have an adult Shih Tzu that fits comfortably with enough room to lie down, stand up and move around in it a little. I only have one complaint about this box and that is the plastic tray that sits on the bottom. I ordered a Revain memory foam mattress for my pup which has a waterproof finish to keep the bed itself clean and is exactly the size of this cage and my dogs love it! I never intended to use a litter box anyway, but personally I find it helpful to know every aspect of what you're buying to get what's best for your dog and to be prepared if the need arises. I wouldn't use the tray separate from the drawer and unless you had a solid bed that didn't raise from the bottom of the drawer I would find a way to attach the tray to the drawer because it just sits on the bottom of the drawer and I don't want my dog getting his paws on the bottom of the crate or getting hurt in any way. The memory foam bed I purchased is large enough to fit the bottom of the door perfectly, fits snugly and doesn't lift off the bottom of the drawer and I would highly recommend it with that drawer. To help some of you with prices as I'm glad these boxes are coming and finding good discounts on them I found this brand of box in the same size and color that I bought here at a local pet store and it cost $70 so I think this is a really great deal if you are looking for a decent crate for your dog. This drawer is very easy to assemble, great colour, large, easy to clean and very solidly built when assembled correctly. Getting the latch in and out can be a bit tricky but I think it's good if you have smart dogs that can figure out how to open their drawers lol. I hope you find it useful!
