Exceeded my expectations! I wanted to poke a center hole in a rotted fence post and then poke the rest out with a long pry bar. But things didn't go as planned. I used two 12" extensions and modified the Forstner shaft to accommodate the set screws. I took my time and regularly switched the drill on and off, which was self-cleaning. I drilled about 18 inches with no problems. To my surprise, the 4x4 post was solid and the only rotten part was at ground level. Great drill bit, although the edges were damaged/blunted from hitting the cement it continued to work perfectly and drilled a perfect 2" hole. In hindsight I should have bought a 3 inch so I could just install a metal fence post in the hole.
