They are good for small circular projects. I will use them for the reduced last rows of hats. I have previously purchased 10 sets of German made Addi FlexiFlip needles in US sizes 1 through 8. I bought these US made Denise Flex double needles because they make US size 9 and up. They're half the price of Addi FlexiFlips and a lot more portable. The difference in cost is likely due to the fact that Denise needles are made of durable plastic and stored folded in a 3" x 5" zippered plastic bag, while Addi FlexiFlips needles have metal needles and store 10-1/2 inches . 1/2 inch cylindrical clear plastic tube. For my limited purposes, these less expensive needles should work just fine.
