Absolutely normal.

By Val Walsh. I used to knit hats and never had success as I could never work with straight stiff DPNs until I bought these Denise Flexes. Sooo much easier and much cheaper than their competitors. I love her! Because of them, I knitted a hat with an even pattern on the crown for the first time, and my hats turned out perfect. I also have a set of Denise spare needles that work with them. Flex are the shorts I prefer. Costs money. Downside, I wish they made them out of nickel. more durable. They

No more fingers!

I'm so happy to have discovered these flexible double pointed needles! I never liked direct DPNs and felt very uncomfortable using them and there was always a risk of losing stitches. These flexible DPNs are easy to use and work great. If you take a needle out of the equation (knitting requires 2 plus an active needle), knitting becomes a lot easier. I particularly like the Denise brand because the needles are matte and the lines are thick and strong so the stitches are VERY unlikely to fall…

Compact, portable, inexpensive

They are good for small circular projects. I will use them for the reduced last rows of hats. I have previously purchased 10 sets of German made Addi FlexiFlip needles in US sizes 1 through 8. I bought these US made Denise Flex double needles because they make US size 9 and up. They're half the price of Addi FlexiFlips and a lot more portable. The difference in cost is likely due to the fact that Denise needles are made of durable plastic and stored folded in a 3" x 5" zippered plastic bag…
