By Val Walsh. I used to knit hats and never had success as I could never work with straight stiff DPNs until I bought these Denise Flexes. Sooo much easier and much cheaper than their competitors. I love her! Because of them, I knitted a hat with an even pattern on the crown for the first time, and my hats turned out perfect. I also have a set of Denise spare needles that work with them. Flex are the shorts I prefer. Costs money. Downside, I wish they made them out of nickel. more durable. They are made of plastic and will break with frequent use.
