THIS FABRIC IS NOT BREATHABLE!

It keeps the heat off the deck, but it does not allow any air to come through. I encded up cutting slices in the fabric to so that it was letting in air. we have hung it across out balcony which faces western california sun, so very hot in summer months, so it certainly keeps the balcony and house cooler, but we have to open it once it cools down or the heat does not escape the balcony since no air come through. Plus it is a pain when it is windy as it blows all over needed anchors and tie downs to keep it from whipping all over the place.Will not reorder.
