I bought this for my wife's 2012 Chevrolet Equanox. This net can be perfectly attached to the luggage net in the rear. If people complain about things falling out underneath, just put a shopping bag, book, or something else in the net. This is a net, not a hard blocker. The chain holds about six full plastic grocery bags. Ideal for preventing eggs or fruit from rolling out. If you put a few bags in the net, you can fill the trunk and nothing will fall out. We live on a hill, so I can say that with all confidence. The material is strong and stitched very well and the clips are very strong and I seriously doubt they will ever fail. You really won't be disappointed if you use it properly. Excellent goods.
