Attention Customer - Radios

Radio configured as a base station with Tekpower 30 amp power supply. Factory configured Laird FG4500 antenna and Times Microwave cable with factory installed weatherproof crimp connectors. I checked the SWR several times and never read higher than 1.06 (no typo) yes, 1.06. The radio failed after a month of use. Btech claims it was my fault, high SWR or low voltage. They claim it was a short circuit that led them to this conclusion. Such a short circuit never occurs due to poor design or poor workmanship. You are wrong. Do yourself a favor, reconsider buying this radio or any of these devices.
