Review on Ultra-Light, BPA-Free Collapsible Water Bottle For Backpacking - Hydrapak Flux (1.5L) With Spill-Proof Twist Cap In Mammoth Grey by Robert Larris

Not with it. Not reliable.

Used this bottle once on a hiking trip. Worked well, lightweight. Dried it, stored it for a bit till my next trip. When my next trip arrived I filled it up put it in my pack and headed out. On the trail I figured out that my whole back was soaked because there was now a pinhole leak going right through the bottle and it was leaking everywhere. No damage to the surrounding area, no scratches and was definitely was not next to anything Sharp or something that could have poked a hole in it; whether in my pack or during storage.Very disappointed that I paid $30 for a bottle to use for a couple days on a trip. Not with it. Not reliable.

Pros
  • Great size and perfect for hiking
Cons
  • The twist cap might not be as secure as other closure options, potentially leading to spills or leaks
