Not with it. Not reliable.

Used this bottle once on a hiking trip. Worked well, lightweight. Dried it, stored it for a bit till my next trip. When my next trip arrived I filled it up put it in my pack and headed out. On the trail I figured out that my whole back was soaked because there was now a pinhole leak going right through the bottle and it was leaking everywhere. No damage to the surrounding area, no scratches and was definitely was not next to anything Sharp or something that could have poked a hole in it…

Pros
  • Great size and perfect for hiking
Cons
  • The twist cap might not be as secure as other closure options, potentially leading to spills or leaks

So convenient! best in my review

This water bottle is awesome. My boyfriend accidentally forgets a water bottle all the time when we go to the gym. He stashed this in his (small!) cross body gym bag thingie and now he always has one on hand. It comes in handy all the time. I can see how this would be really helpful when we go to the airport or camping or. really so many applications for this great bottle! We've been using this thing for like 5 months or so now, a couple days/week and so far no leaks or issues with…

Pros
  • With a 1.5L capacity, this water bottle can hold enough water for a long hike or outdoor adventure
Cons
  • The bottle may not keep water as cool as other insulated options

Came cracked for my opinion

Came damaged out of the box. Small micro crqck on plastic inned lid attachment. Could not see the crack until water was put in and pressure was applied. Went on a 4 day backpacking trip with a leaking water bottle the whole way through. Tried to return it but I was one day out from the return policy.

Pros
  • Lightweight Design: This collapsible water bottle is ultra-light, making it easy to carry in your backpack during backpacking trips or any outdoor activity
Cons
  • The twist cap may be too difficult to open for those with weaker wrist strength

doesn't retain its shape well

This bottle doesn't retain its shape well. Extremely durable. The perfect replacement for a Katadyn BeFree filter.. It was a good idea but it also doesn't fold away that easily.

Pros
  • Extremely durable. The perfect replacement for a Katadyn BeFree filter.
Cons
  • This bottle may be too flimsy for frequent use, especially if you're tough on your gear

Easily Pierced good for me

Was really excited about purchasing this but I used this and there is already a tiny slit, it leaks, and I had wondered if that would happen— not happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • WATER FILTER COMPATIBLE - Attaches to most 42mm threaded water filters such as the Katadyn BeFree. Use as your filter squeeze bag or drink directly through.
Cons
  • The bottle may not stand up on its own when empty, making it harder to fill or drink from

now releases water through micro holes

Worked pretty well originally. Only used once or twice a year ago due to travel restrictions, but now releases water through micro holes when I went to re-use. Sat in its packaging separate from everything else. Disappointed and unsure if this happens to most of their products over time even if not used

Pros
  • Works for me, no complaints here.
Cons
  • The collapsible nature of this bottle may make it difficult to drink from if it's not completely full

Great customer service! I had high hopes for this water bag/bottle. Took it out on one mt bike ride inside of my riding backpack and some how it developed a hole. There was no puncture devise anywhere near the bottle as I keep all of my trail tools enclosed in a separate tool kit. I like the idea of the thing , it just doesn't hold up well. Literally lasted 2 days off the shelf! More to follow as I follow through with their customer service. So 2 weeks later and the product guarantee came…

Pros
  • PACKABLE - At only 97g, it packs down smaller than a deck of cards. Your new thru-hiking essential.
Cons
  • If the twist cap is not properly closed, it could spill water all over your gear

If you plan on ONLY drinking water from this, it's probably great. However, I mixed a BCAA drink in it for a hike I did a week ago, and the smell is still in the bottle, after numerous washings.I've thoroughly washed it out over twenty times, and the smell simply will not go away. Why they'd make this bottle with a substance that permanently absorbs a smell and never lets it go is beyond me. It makes no sense. You'd think they would've figured out this flaw in beta testing. Unbelievable.

Pros
  • LEAK PROOF - Unique drink through cap with spill-proof valve for easy drinking when you’re on the trail and no leak-usage.
Cons
  • The bottle may not fit in all drink holders or backpack pockets

Cool design but durability is questionable

Very easy to put anywhere in a pack, but this thing does have some quirks. It will not stand up by itself unless you balance it, and it will most likely flop out of any cup holder or backpack pocket. I do not mind that much but something to be kept in mind. As far as leakproof goes mine was for about 5 months but developed a pin size hole on the top after normal use. Hopefully I can warranty a new one with the company.

Pros
  • Sports Water Bottles
Cons
  • The collapsible aspect of the bottle could make it difficult to fill up in shallow streams or springs

A little weird to handle, but very versatile

It takes some getting used to, to handle and drink out of it, but then it's expected. With something of that shape, we instinctively expect it to be solid, which this, of course, isn't.Extremely light, seems very sturdy, and I love that it folds into its own handle

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoors
Cons
  • Collapsible bottles can be harder to clean thoroughly than rigid ones

Leaks and a bad aftertaste. I even washed and soaked with both white vinegar and Baking soda to try and eliminate the aftertaste. to bad I didn't use it right away after purchase, I would return if I could. How do i get in contact with the manufacturer?

Pros
  • DURABLE - Dual-layer film laminate construction adds structure and RF-welded soft walls give grip without compromising compactness. The Flux can be frozen and is dishwasher safe.
Cons
  • The bottle may not be able to withstand being dropped or crushed, which could damage it

Revainrating 3 out of 5

All and all ok on my review.

That handle that's in the picture, that's meant to help you carry it also prevents it from closing properly,so there is leakage. I had to take it off,so i could close the cap properly.Other then that,it's ok

Pros
  • Sports & Outdoor Recreation Accessories
Cons
  • The material used in the bottle may give water a strange taste or odor

Overall a great product

I've been taking this bottle on hikes and while I'm flying, it's very easy to clean and doesn't have that weird plastic taste other bottles have so I love it.There's only one thing I don't like about this bottle, drinking from it with one hand is annoying when it's less than half full, it folds in two so you have to use two hands which is not great if you're cycling/driving.

Pros
  • BPA-Free Material: The Hydrapak Flux is made from BPA-free materials, which means you can enjoy your water without worrying about harmful chemicals or toxins
Cons
  • The collapsible nature of the bottle could make it more difficult to see how much water you have left
