My husband and I have used this on several doors and it works great. It's pretty easy to use. It stays in place so you don't need a second person to hold it in place and he's drilled a hole in the right place for the lock to fit perfectly. We installed keyless sledge locks on our doors and the old holes weren't big enough. My husband first tried the DeWatt cordless hand drill. It wasn't powerful enough, so he used a larger DeWatt corded drill instead. It's pretty dirty so get ready to vacuum afterwards.
