UPDATE after a year: - Rusting around the bottom despite the rod being smooth and the gasket perfectly tensioned. The rust on the underside of the left handle is also just starting to leak - the surface is flaking and difficult to clean. Where H and C are stamped, it will rust. This is not dirt or plaque on the photos. That's a bad ending. - Handles become very difficult to turn. We have to be very careful to push as hard as possible to make sure the cold water is turned off. It was nice, cheap and I was in a hurry. I figured I'd swap it out for a price like that if I had to. Well now I need it and I'm not looking forward to spending it or working and I wish I had something better. Over a year ago I said: It's cheap, but it doesn't feel cheap. It is durable and easy to install. Beautiful bathroom fixture.
