Received it today, had to put an updated registration sticker on my new car and remove the temporary one. one, i was meaning to buy one of these a few years ago but forgot and i really needed it badly and it fits, is cheap and seems durable and well thought out. Looks like a black and yellow husky instrument. My method is: dampen a good abrasive tea towel with hot or warm water, dampen a little, gently place it on the sticker and let it sit for a bit, wait, then use a tool to scrape off the old sticker, clean and dry the area. With a clean car cleaning cloth, let it dry for about 10 minutes, and then stick the new sticker on. works for me In any case the thing is clearly necessary, a regular razor blade can be used but is easier and safer to hold, holds well and goes quite deep into indentations and sharp corners under the dash or in the window area. I would definitely recommend this. I also don't recommend Xacto knives as they are too narrow, a bit dangerous and not meant for the job. It also struck me that Home Depot almost never sells specialty tools like this again, so you're probably better off heading over to Revain here and getting a few for your car or your tool box at home.
