My favorite of 4 sliding doors

I ordered and compared 4 different baby sliding doors. Out of the 4 this is my favorite mainly because it was the cheapest but also the widest. Another was made in the same factory (but sold under a different company name) so I'm sure there are plenty of retractable gates out there using common OEM parts/sources. The product page advertises a width of 71 inches. When I measured with the base pressed against the wall and pulled straight out I got 77 inches. It gets smaller as it's pulled out to the sides (because it doesn't include the height of the base). In addition, the lattice gate moves closer to the wall when you pull it to the right than when you pull it to the left, depending on the direction of rotation. Advantages of this gate: --- Easy to use locking system which is crucial to secure the gate against violence - only took about 2.5 seconds. Force in kg to pull the gate roller when unlocked---Easier to install as the bottom bracket slides to avoid obstacles Some cons:---No additional brackets to move around the house-Even more difficult from the Remove Brackets Other: It is necessary to press the gate against the wall to drill holes through the fasteners rather than using templates as with other gates. Because of their width, I can use them to cut my porch in half, which is useful for keeping cats from running out of the screened porch when the mail delivery service opens the screen door. Even if that didn't work, the flexibility of this mount allows you to shield anything you want to cover, such as bookshelves, closets, and even around a pole or corner.
