The product is really good, I'm glad I bought it.

A couple more impressions from the phone: 1) The firmware is interesting, but in general it seems a bit slow. There are subjective moments that I do not quite like. First of all, they concern the functions of dialing/recent calls/contacts. The essence of the claim: to make a call, you need to spend a significant amount of time. For example, the dialing feature is not merged with recent calls - I find this inconvenient. In the same MIUI, when you press the call button, a numeric keypad appears, above which is a list of recent calls. If you start scrolling calls, the keyboard automatically collapses. Here you need to switch between the corresponding tabs. In contacts, the search function is slow (I would like to add: like everything else in this phone). Even when you have found the desired contact (in Contacts or Recent Calls - it doesn’t matter), in order to make a call, you must not only click on the contact, but then also click on the handset icon. And to go to view a contact from recent calls (for example, if you want to call another number of this contact), you need a number of actions: click on the contact, select "Information", click "View contact details". Why is everything so complicated if I just want to call? 2) Fingerprint. On Mi Mix 2s, it is on the back, and this is inconvenient, for example, when the phone is on the table (to unlock, you need to take the phone in your hand). Therefore, I thought that the fingerprint under the screen was cool. What in fact? Firstly, unlocking with a sub-screen fingerprint takes about 1.5 seconds (in Mi Mix - somewhere around 0.5 seconds). Secondly, in order to recognize the print in low light (or maybe always - it's just visible only in the dark), Samsung turns on the under-screen LED while scanning the print. And at night it is quite visible. You get used to it, of course, but still. I practically did not test the camera - so far I can not say anything about it. As a result, the impressions are twofold.

Pros
  • 1) really cool display. 2) Samsung Pay - it exists, it works, including with Mir cards, and it is much more convenient than Mir Pay. It's cool that when you launch Samsung Pay and confirm that payment is ready with your fingerprint, NFC turns on automatically (and turns off when Samsung Pay is minimized). The transition to club cards is also conveniently implemented - right on the screen with a payment card, you can display the barcode of the bonus card.
Cons
  • 1) Performance - A52 is slow, sometimes very slow. This is especially noticeable when working with the camera. My old phone, Mi Mix 2s, released in 2022, will boldly give it a head start. And this is unpleasantly surprising. Nevertheless, the A52 was released three years later, and although this is not a flagship, it is difficult to attribute it to the budget price category. 2) weak charger included and no case.
