I bought this rice cooker because I didn't have one. I'm tired of constantly cooking rice on the stove and watching the rice. If I let it cook too long the rice will burn at the bottom and if I undercook it some of the rice will remain raw. Cooking rice on the stove is a big problem. This rice cooker has definitely made cooking rice much easier, more convenient and faster. Because it cooks by itself and turns off after cooking, keeping the rice warm until serving. Ever since I got a rice cooker, I don't mind cooking rice every day.
