I used this to disconnect ball joints on my 2000 axle shaft rebuild system. It was easy to get the right size and smash the connection with a hammer. I didn't try it with my air hammer because I wanted a little more finesse. I would recommend this to the shadow mechanic. If you use this thing multiple times that would be great. If you plan to use this professionally, you may need something of a higher quality.
