I used it on my 2017 Pearl White (White Orchid) Accord. My car is 37 months old and is still on the show floor. No scratches or dents, garaged. I wash at least once a week. It's meticulously crafted using MEGUIAR's G18216 Ultimate Liquid Wax and Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax to ensure it always shines, so I was hesitant about going with ceramic, but I did anyway. At the same time, I knew that preparing my car would take a lot of work. I recommend starting this process early in the morning and when the weather isn't very hot (below 80°F). Here's what I did: - Washed the car. (@ at the car wash) - soap and clay - washed and dried (@ at the car wash) - polished with a dual-action polisher using Meguiar's G17220 Ultimate Compound - washed and dried (@ at the car wash), then canceled monthly (unlimited ) car wash. - Entire vehicle sprayed with 25% isopropyl alcohol/75% distilled water - Entire vehicle inspected for possible missing "items" and swirls. Everything is clear - I applied a ceramic coating according to the instructions / video lesson. Right now it's 83 degrees in my garage.- I did it piece by piece, starting with the entire front hood which is divided into four quadrants. Drops of the ceramic formula are applied to the applicator for each quadrant. THEN I WAITED 2 MINUTES. Then wipe the ENTIRE HOOD WITH THE SUPPLIED DOOM MICROFIBRE.- DO NOT ALLOW IT TO DRY BEFORE resetting the microfiber OR YOU WILL MALFUNCTION.- AFTER THE DEAL I WILL WAIT TWO HOURS, REST. At the moment it's 30 degrees in my garage. I then inspected everything to make sure everything was perfect. The pottery is now very dry and I have now seen a BIG DIFFERENCE. DEEP SHINE AND SHINE BUT NO SMOOTHNESS YET. I find it takes a few hours to a day before you feel smooth. After a two hour wait, I used Mothers Collinite 845 Yellow applicator 156501 to apply 845 insulating wax to the entire ceramic coating of the car. Why not, I have a new bottle that I haven't used yet.* I started at 8am and finished by 7pm. Please note that the car wash is only a minute from my house, so I wash my car at the car wash.* Immediately after applying Collinite 845 insulating wax, THE RESULTS ARE AMAZING! IT IS NOW BOTH A DEEP GLOSSY FINISH AND VERY SMOOTH TO THE HAND* Will it last? Who knows. The most common ratings for durability were NOT VERY GOOD. When applied, a pre-treatment that is mainly diluted with water (?) when applying the ceramic formula. This is probably why the DURABILITY of this product suffers. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars. *Now I have to hand wash my car to prolong its life and I will use Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax every time AFTER the car wash. Please note that for best results, Meguiar's Xpress Spray Wax should only be used after the car is dry and not while it is still wet.
