Since I've had the Bad Elf GPS Pro 2200 I've been using it everywhere I go and have intentionally taken it offline in areas we don't normally venture or get lost in the process search. Once I got the GPS, it locked onto the satellites in seconds, I've fiddled with a few settings on my Wi-Fi-only iPad Air 2, and I've been using Google Maps for offline navigation and the Bad Elf app download on the go. my magazines. Very easy to use and each setting switch is very clear. In the box you will find a Bad Elf GPS navigator, charging cable, booklet and strap. I find the strap to be poorly constructed and the break at the neck is right down the middle, this is very uncomfortable and makes the strap itself so weak that it snaps off with a slight pull. A molle or custom shell with a hole for the screen and buttons would be nice, a silicone skin for a small (and easy to fall) device would be ideal. It really worries me when such small (expensive) devices don't have protective options for the case. The next day I noticed problems with the GPS tracking, even though I was connected to 8-11 satellites. Bad Elf does absolutely nothing without satellite (can't even calibrate the time), this stopped for hours and suddenly started working. It was in the middle of a journey, I was preparing to have a very tiring customer service experience and explaining my problems, mainly because there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE! I vividly explained my concerns in the form of an email, to which Bryant responded fairly quickly with a few questions. The problem didn't come back for several days and when I did I sent some pictures showing the problem I was having and when I had it again Bryant responded promptly the same day confirming a free replacement free shipping and return of the bag for the defective device. . Another plus is that I didn't have to return my device, which I use every day, and I would be very upset if I had to go to get a replacement in the first place. This was all within the warranty period which I wish was a lot longer as I feel this is a lifetime tool that most people will use forever and pass on with a lifetime guarantee if you can. I would pay at least another $50 for the lifetime warranty option, at least for a battery replacement. Almost all of my expensive tools or gadgets are mostly from companies with a lifetime or at least 25 year warranty. 2 years is a very short warranty period for a device without a removable battery. The reason I don't give another star is because the customer service has been so nice and kind and there is no other device like this with this kind of performance and ease of use. I will update this review as the device lifespan increases, but so far I love this device and recommend it to all my friends!
