This adapter worked great allowing me to use a python gravel cleaner with my bathroom faucet which is a small gooseneck delta (see photos). Some reviewers have said that this part is not needed as the male end of the adapter that comes standard with Python is female threaded, allowing it to be used as a female connection on small faucets. I'm sure this applies to some faucets that are slightly smaller than the stock faucets, but for my faucet, even the inner diameter of the male end of the original adapter was too large. So try to use the male end of the original adapter as a female first, and if it's still too big, please order this item. How the parts fit together: The female end of the original adapter threads into the female end of the green plastic part of the pump. The male end of this item screws into the female end of the male end of the original adapter. Then the female end of this part is screwed onto the faucet.
