I recently dug a ditch and double checked that the cable connects my routers well. I have used this to connect to my garage and have wifi access to stream music and movies and stay on my LAN while in my garage which is over 100ft (+30m) away is. Since it's buried underground and outdoors, I bought a built-in gigabit ground switch in case lightning strikes the ground around the house.
