I used it to remove streaks. The idea is not to damage the paint and that worked great. It's still quite a long, tedious process, taking maybe 1+ hours per page. The edges of plastic razors can be damaged by this kind of abuse but I've found that using a metal file to sharpen the edges works great and allows me to sharpen, then maybe do 1 foot straight away and then sharpen again. This is a much cheaper and IMO safer solution than the erasers you can get for the job. I was afraid one of them would burn the paint. They're not very stiff, so you need to find the perfect scraping angle. The grip is quite strong and has not suffered. This is a good tool to have in your toolbox.
